Customer-friendly

As a small family business, Munckenei stands for a customer-friendly service. The company manager is the permanent contact person for all clients and he ensures that all questions, comments, or complaints are dealt with. At Munckenei we really do put the customer first.

Flexible

We make immediate provision for specific requests from customers. For example, options regarding types of eggs (e.g. maize eggs, omega eggs, or multigrain eggs) can be realised within a short space of time. Production under one’s own label or a private label? These are just some of the possibilities.

Quick and efficient

Everything is done at our site in Wingene, from production and processing to sorting and distribution. This has the advantage that we are able to supply customers with fresh and top quality eggs thanks to the lack of intermediate stations in the production process.

Progressive

Munckenei has a progressive attitude and is developing into an integral free range company with a winter garden. The chickens can run around indoors and in the covered extension of the winter garden in a safe and protected environment. This shows our concern for animal welfare. Munckenei limits transport and makes use of solar panels as a source of energy to prove its green credentials.

Safe and qualitative

We guarantee constant quality control. The direct supply of chickens from the rearing farm 500 metres away, the centralisation of the production process, the limitation of transport, and the introduction of the free range system have improved the quality of the eggs and kept the risk of infections and illnesses to a minimum. Hygiene, animal welfare, and consumer safety are three of our top priorities, as shown by the fact that we meet the KAT standard, which is a German quality label. Moreover, we have implemented and deployed our own system, which is based on the HACCP standards.
